PAL Graphics Area: FontAgent Pro Plus Includes OpenType Fonts

FontAgent Pro provides a vast array of Mac and PC font management capabilities, including a font integrity engine that diagnoses font problems before fonts can be used; auto-activation plugins for Adobe CS2, CS3 and CS4 that find, match and activate fonts as users open InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop documents; the printing of hardcopy and creation of PDF sample books for any group of fonts; the display of fonts in cascading point sizes; font archiving that automatically backs up font files; startup fonts and sets that activate fonts when the font manager starts up; and much more. If that wasn't enough, Insider Software has now bundled 750 OpenType fonts from Bitstream to create FontAgent Pro Plus. The fonts are said to have well-defined kerning pairs, full character sets and reliable metadata. The collection includes more than 150 book and text fonts; 400 creative and display fonts; 80 script and handwritten fonts; 25 typewriter and mono-width fonts; and a wide selection of symbol and dingbat fonts
